A tea created in Taiwan by Japanese tea specialists, near the famous Sun Moon Lake. This black tea is crafted from a hybrid of Assamica and native wild Taiwanese tea trees. It features a rich, sweet fruity aroma with a touch of spice. Fully fermented and heavily roasted, it offers a deep, full-bodied, and complex flavor.
The specific batch we selected is truly unique — the tea leaves were bitten by green leafhoppers, a natural phenomenon that gives the tea a velvety texture and a beautifully layered, lingering aftertaste.
